
"Pollution control in poor densely populated areas" (PCDA) component is one of the five components within the Vietnam-Denmark Development Cooperation in the Environment in the period from 2005 till 2010.
The development objective of the Component is to move to a situation where "The quality of the environment in poor, densely populated areas is subject to effective local control and maintained at acceptable levels".
This objective shall be achieved by enhancing capacity for MONRE staff and its provincial departments to regulate polluting activities effectively, coordinate remedial actions and enhance awareness of environmental protection especially in four pilot provinces Ha Nam, Ben Tre, Quang Nam and Thai Nguyen.
